Dear Visitor,
Welcome to Bramhall and Woodford Rotary Club! Rotary began in Chicago over 115 years ago in 1905. Our own club was founded in 1986. Since then, local Rotarians have been following the motto of “Service above Self” to build up our local community as well as communities abroad.
You will find us around Bramhall and Woodford, notably at the Duck Race and Family Fun Day in the park, at the Scarecrow Festival, running Fashion Shows, on the Christmas float, rattling tins in response to global disasters and in Uganda building schools, bathrooms, and water tanks for rural villages.
Internationally, Rotary is a service organization composed of 1.4M neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Are you interested in learning more about an organization of “people of action” who create lasting change? If so, please email us and plan on attending one of our evening meetings to learn more.
This year’s international theme is “Imagine Rotary”. We invite you to imagine yourself in Rotary today!
